Katy Perry to shine in Antibes
The Firework star will headline amfAR's annual 'Cinema Against Aids' event
The glitzy A-list fundraiser which is held annually during the Cannes Film Festival, will take place this year on Thursday 19th May 2016.
The 23rd annual Cinema Against AIDS event will be a spectacular, star-studded gala and is well known as one of the world's most successful benefit events, and is certainly the most coveted ticket in town during the Cannes International Film Festival. In 2016, amfAR returns to the Hôtel du Cap Eden Roc with event chairs Sharon Stones, Heidi Klum, Adrien Brody, Milla Jovovich, Kevin Spacey and many others.
Along with an incredible auction of art and fashion, editor and stylist Carine Roitfeld will curate a fashion show comprised of a range of designers, featuring one-off looks from Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Gucci, Prada, Céline, Balmain, Giorgio Armani, Tom Ford and others.
Katy Perry will headline the sparkling event that last year raised $30 million on the night. To date, the event has raised more than $170 million for amfAR's life-saving research programs and helped keep the fight against AIDS in the global media spotlight.
