In recent years, sea kayaking has become a very popular sport for nature lovers and those who enjoy the tranquillity of the sea. The company offers kayaking throughout the year along the Riviera coast: highlighting three particular destinations, the Cap d'Antibes, the Lerins Islands and the Massif Esterel (Theoule, Antheor and Trayas).

As an example of one of their trips:
They offer a group of up to ten participants a day navigating the wild and natural coves of the Lerins islands located close to the tip of Cannes, swimming breaks and / or meals are provided. By late afternoon, they take the participants to a tasting of local wine products, prepared on site by the monastic brotherhood who have been present on the Saint-Honorat island for sixteen centuries.

5. Societe des Regates d'Antibes Sailing School

They offer various sailing and windsurfing courses aimed at all ages, from 5 year old children to adults. There is also the possibility of renting a boat, or booking private lessons.

The club has two centres, one in Antibes and another one in Juan les Pins, both organising courses. They run weekly lessons on Optimist dinghies for children, adult catamarans and kayaks. They also have a summertime sailing school. They offer special prices for groups.

They also have equipment to rent, from small sailing boats to catamarans, kayaks and stand up paddle boards. Their professional sailing team participates in national and international boat races, some organised in Antibes.

6. Kayaking Tours, Juan Les Pins

Based in Antibes, their kayak activities extend along the French Riviera and include the Iles de Lerins.

You can choose to take one of their coastal tours.

They offer guided tours varying from easy trips focused on fun, to longer more challenging routes. Their main three options are:

  • Discovery Tour: This 1.5hr tour will introduce you to Kayaking and allow you to explore some of the beautiful coastline alone the French Riviera with a fully qualified instructor
  • Experience Tour: This 2 hour tour is for those that want a more challenging and sporty excursion of all the magnificent sites around the Cap d'Antibes.
  • Sunset Tour: An early evening paddle along the coastline taking in the spectacular colours cast at dusk, as the moon slowly rises.

You can also choose to take private or group lessons with one of their instructors. It is a great activity to do with friends and family or to give as a gift.

Alternatively, you can choose to simply hire a kayak for 1hr through to a full day.

7. Kayak Hire

Based in Antibes, their kayak & SUP activities extend along the French Riviera and include the Iles de Lerins.

You can choose to hire a Kayak (one or two person) and head out onto the water to discover the beautiful area and the activity for yourself. Hire is possible for a few hours, a half day or a full day, so it's up to you to plan your day!

Alternatively, you can choose to take a private lesson or try one of their group coastal tours. They offer guided tours varying from easy discovery trips, to more sporty outings and a sunset trip.

For rentals Cape Kayak use sit-on-top kayaks, for the sporty ones they also have a fleet of surfskis that are long and fast kayaks.
