By Pam Williamson, Updated

Due to strike action the SNCF has announced the cancellation of some of its PACA services this week.

Starting from today this strike will last until Friday 29th April. Delays and cancellations are to be expected on both the regional and national rail networks with only one train out of four operating between Nice and Ventimiglia. Other lines affected include those running between Marseille and Avignon, Nimes and Avignon and Toulon to Hyeres.

In this instance all four of the worker’s unions within the SNCF will be taking part which means disruption may be greater than before. For more information you can call 0800.11.40.23. Visit the SNCF website before you travel.
