AOC Cotes du Provence situated close to Brignoles & the south coast

Their two estates lie about two miles apart but all their wines are made in Fontlade. Thus, the Côtes de Provence comes from a plot which stands at the westernmost border of the appellation.

Their main products are: AOC Cotes du Provence: Aurelia Prima Rosé and White; AOC Coteaux Varois en Provence: Saint Qvinis White, Rosé and Red. Ermite du Maunier "old vines" Red; Vins de Pays du Var: Baronnette Rosé and red; Sparkling (traditional method): Baron de Fontlade, dry white and Mademoiselle de Fontlade, rosé.

The vines are planted on very pebbly terraces, with a good proportion of south or southeast exposure at a mean altitude of 30m above sea level. The area has a continental climate: hot and dry summers without sea influence and cold and usually dry winters. A good combination for the wine.

Tastings are free and take place in their cellar. You can purchase wine directly from the estate.

When to come

The vineyard is open to visitors throughout the year between 10.00 and 19:00, except on Sundays and between Christmas and New Year's Day. Please contact them for group visits.

How to book

We would always suggest contacting the vineyard in advance if you are interested in a guided tour or a tasting. If you are booking for a group then you must do this. You can call them using the number above or make an enquiry.
