For years we all watched the fantastic Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley play Edina Monsoon and her best friend Patsy in the hilarious TV series Absolutely Fabulous.
From 1992 until 2012 the pair drove Eddie's sensible daughter, Saffron, up the wall with their constant drug abuse and outrageous selfishness. Now Fox Searchlight Pictures and BBC Films have released the first image from comedy “Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie,” which has started shooting in the U.K. and the South of France.
At the end of October the news was announced that Eddy’s no. 1 client Baby Spice (Emma Bunton) is going to be joining the AbFab Movie team. Plus, silver-screen diva, Dame Joan Collins, has already been to Cap d'Antibes to film her cameo in the film!
Sounds like it is ramping up to be an all star cast in the movie that is expected on cinema screens in 2016. I can't even begin to image what kind of mischief the pair will get up to in the French Riviera!
