Guest stars at Beyonce & Jay Z Nice concert
Music's royal couple gave an unforgettable performance at the Allianz Riviera
THE event of the summer in the Cote d'Azur, Beyonce and Jay Z's On The Run concert, took place yesterday at the Allianz Riviera stadium in Nice. A constellation of stars descended on the city to watch the sold-out show.
One of the largest stages that Nice has ever seen was set up inside the stadium occupying all its width. Three XXL screens, hundreds of lights, dozens of dancers, fire, several costume changes, a powerful display of sound, and acrobatic performances created a magic atmosphere that reverberated through the French Riviera.
In the VIP booths, we saw some of the Cote d'Azur famous residents such as U2's frontman Bono, who owns a house in Eze, and Elton John who has a mansion in a Nice. Also attending was Kris Jenner, the Kardashian matriarch is currently on holidays in Europe and this is not the first time that she spends part of her summer in the French Riviera. Hugo Lloris, France's national team goalkeeper and World Cup champion, who's also a Nice local, was also present.
Beyonce, Jay Z and their entourage celebrated a private after-gig in Antibes, at the Michelangelo Restaurant. This Italian eatery is a firm favourite among the rich and famous, from Brangelina to Magic Johnson, Mick Jagger, Rihanna, and, of course, the Kardashians.
