Annual festival of honey in this medieval town
Entertaining, educational and tasting; this is the Honey Festival! It takes place each year, on the last Sunday of April, outside the town hall and in the castle park, come and celebrate!
Talks and demonstrations of opening of a hive, honey extraction and also various information stands and special garden honey plants will be installed in the castle park. Lavender, rosemary, lime, thyme...
Many beekeepers will present their products on the market and the public will share the secrets of their craft. Chef Guy Gedda will showcase the different flavours of honey in a gastronomical display.
A great day out for the whole family with plenty of children's activities and educational displays.
