The 17th Edition of the NRJ Music Awards
Only three days to go until this red carpet event in Cannes
Saturday 7th November will see some of music's biggest names walking the red carpet up to the Palais des Festivals for the 17th Edition of the NRJ Music Awards.
As every year, viewers can vote directly in the "French Song of the Year" category, and the list of artists in this particular competition has been unveiled!
This year the nominees are: Christine and the Queens for "Christine", Kendji Girac with "Conmigo", Louane with "Avenir", Marina Kaye with "Homeless" and Maître Gims with the song "Est-ce que tu m'aimes? ". All artists nominated in the category "French Song of the Year" will be on stage at the Cannes Palais des Festivals!
Adele, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Ellie Goulding, Mylene Farmer and Sting have all also confirmed their attendance at the 2015 event.
A very special event in the Cannes calendar and as usual, Cannes residents had the opportunity to participate in a lottery organised by the City, to attend the event. Winners of those tickets can collect them in person on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th November, between 09:00 and 18:00, salon jaune at the hôtel de ville (the city hall), on presentation of an identity document and registration form.
And in true NRJ style there will be a FREE pre-concert on Friday 6th November , to be hosted in the Salon des Ambassadeurs in the Palais des Festivals. Doors open at 17:30 and the concert takes place from 18:20 until 20:00. Already confirmed acts are Kendji, Louane, Fréro Delavega, Marina Kaye, Madcon, amongst many others!
The distribution of these tickets will be on a first come, first served basis. You can claim your free ticekts for this at the salon jaune at the hôtel de ville (the city hall), Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th November from 08:00. (There will be a limit of two seats per person and per household)
