Arte Villa, Biot

4 bedroom Villa in Biot. Sleeps 8

In your own artistic villa with contemporary interiors, a stunning pool and unobstructed views of the forest of Valmasque in a region of the French Riviera that so inspired Picasso, Matisse and Miró, you will stay just 18 km from the lively city of Cannes

Owned by art-loving owners with a keen eye for interior design and modern style, Villa d'Arte has recently been completely renovated. They also own an exclusive gallery specializing in graphic art and photography. As a result, you will encounter striking prints adorning the walls of this modern home throughout the villa. Art objects and designer furniture can also be found in the bright rooms, while sliding doors perfectly frame the natural views from the open-plan living-dining room and kitchen.

Four great bedrooms, each with private bathroom with rain shower, are spread over the two floors. The master bedroom on the first floor has a beautiful bath and double French doors to the pool terrace. Two of the upstairs bedrooms have balconies with expansive views. High-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a separate TV lounge are some of the modern conveniences in this unique villa.

Large pine and palm trees provide the Mediterranean ambience outside and, together with the white stone walls of the villa, create an atmospheric place for dining. The view of the beautiful pool and the hills beyond is a nice bonus. In the evenings with a glass of good rosé, enjoy the atmospheric lighting that provides just the right ambiance.

Located in a residential area with the necessary peace and quiet, halfway between the picturesque Biot and Valbonne, the Côte d'Azur and its delights are within reach. The glamour of lively Cannes, the natural beauty of Cap d'Antibes and the endless beaches of the French Riviera are a short distance away. Playing on one of the many nearby golf courses is a great experience.

Visit the renowned Friday morning market of Valbonne and visit one of the many gourmet restaurants in Mougins, the village where Picasso spent much time. Art lovers are recommended to visit the Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul-de-Vence with a sculpture garden of Miró. The Chapelle du Rosaire by Matisse in Vence is also an absolute must, not to mention the numerous galleries of Antibes, Nice and Vallauris in this part of southern France that inspired so many artists.

Good to know:

Air conditioning is provided in all four bedrooms and living rooms. A mandatory flat rate of €100/day applies which includes final cleaning, luxury bed linen, hand and beach towels, air conditioning, energy consumption and administration costs. This will be automatically added to the rental fee during the booking process.
